We arrived back to North Carolina from Arkansas yesterday. We had a very nice trip. The kids had such a great time playing with Kiera and Kaylee. And it's always good to see my family. The only drawbacks to the trip were the flight times to and from Northwest Regional Airport which is in the middle of Nowhere, AR. We left Charlette at 7am last Friday and left AR yesterday at 6:15am! But, I could not have asked the kids to be any better behaved - which was a good thing considering everything Mommy had to keep up with. At several times during the trip I had two car seats, a stroller, one big piece of luggage, a backpack, a diaper bag, and two children to move from one place to another. We are all recovering some today.
We rented a townhome in Bella Vista with my brother and his family because 5 children, ages 3 and under, would have been too much for my grandparents. The townhome was great! It had two decks with a nice view a lake, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a washer and dryer.
We took the kids to a play park one day and swimming another day, but other than that we hung out at Grandma and Grandpa Grote's. They have a bunch of toys in the basement for the kids to play with. Plus Grandma made sugar cookies with the kids; Kevin played the Freeze Game with them; and they all took turns on the bouncy horse.
