This weekend was a pretty typical weekend for us. Saturday, Scott slept in. He really needed it. He's been getting up at 4 am every morning and not getting home til about 6 pm. Then on Wednesdays he has night call and only gets about 2 hours of sleep - so Scott slept in.
Then he took care of the kids while I went to a brunch sponsored by RSA (Wake Forest's resident spouse association). I don't really know what Daddy does with the kids, but they always take very good naps when he plays with them in the morning :) So during naps, I mowed the lawn while Scott studied. Scott decided to take a picture. Mowing wasn't too bad except on the steep slope on one side of our yard. When you push up it, it feels as if the lawnmower might come crashing down on top of you and when you go down the slope it pulls you along with it. This would not be too bad, except we have a white fence that I could easily take out if I let the mower get too out of control.
Sunday, the kids and I went to church while Scott played golf. In the afternoon, Scott took the kids out to our inflatable pool. As I've said before, the kids LOVE water. Ian was especially facinated by the water hose. Scott took some pics.

What I love about this picture is that the emotion from these two is so pure. Don't we all feel this way sometimes.
