Before bedtime, Daddy's been playing hide and seek with the kids. Payton's favorite thing to do is to be 'it' and look for Daddy. Payton can actually count to 20 now. At first, she used to count 1,2,3,4, 20, but now she usually only leaves out one or two numbers somewhere between 12 and 17. Ian likes to be Payton's accomplice, but he doesn't understand the rules yet. Payton will start counting, and Daddy will run to hide. Ian will take a second to look at Payton and then run after Daddy. Then when Payton comes looking for Daddy, she'll ask Ian where Daddy is and he'll point to where ever Daddy's hiding and yell, 'There!' Although it comes out, 'Dere!'
It's been raining here for the last couple of days. It's hard to keep the kids couped up all day, so I let them run around in the driveway or on the deck when we don't have any thunder storms. Payton's been playing more with her dinosaurs lately, and Ian's been playing with his cars.
